How TO Clean Concrete Without Water

ReKrete

ReKrete can be immediately "walked on" or "driven on" by vehicles and is extremely economical in material cost.

Below is an actual example of a site cleaned using ReKrete.

SCRATCH IT UP

After you've blocked off the area, lightly scratch up the surface of the heavy stains (with wire brush on broom head). This is to break up the surface tension of the heavier oil stains and it will allow ReKrete to get into the stain easier. Note how soiled this area looks!

APPLY ReKrete

Put enough ReKrete down to lightly spread over the entire surface. Figure to get about 200 sq. ft per pound of product. (Don't worry if you apply too much, you can sweep up excess and take to the next job!)

SPREAD ReKrete

Using the ReKrete applicator broom head, lightly "paint" the middle of your surface with the dry concrete cleaner. You will notice as you spread that the darkest patch areas start to look instantly lighter as the enzyme goes to work.

SWEEP OUT

After you have applied ReKrete to the center, sweep it away from the middle and out toward the edges of the slab.

EVEN OUT

Completely even out the powder on the pad. Walk off of the pad and onto the surrounding blacktop area. If you see your foot prints tracking powder off then sweep up the excess to take to next job. Leave a "light residue" on the pad, not a heavy build up.

ADMIRE YOUR WORK!

After you've cleaned everything, the slab will look a whole lot better! Over the next few days, and next few weeks, the enzyme will continue to break down the oil in the concrete. ReKrete will also work on the new oil that cars coming in after will bring. Depending upon your traffic and location, plan to reapply product in a few weeks or months afterward. Continued applications will clean the concrete even better.
